Zero Server Storage & Privacy First

Privacy Policy

Last Updated & Effective: March 2026

Candidate Document Privacy Guarantee (Zero Server Upload)

Unlike many third-party document editing websites, Examer candidate utility tools (Photo Resizer, PDF Resizer & Compressor, ATS CV Maker, Age Calculator, Typing Speed Test) operate 100% locally inside your web browser using HTML5 Canvas, FileReader, and WebAssembly APIs.

  • Your photographs, scanned signatures, educational marksheets, caste certificates, and resumes are NEVER uploaded to or stored on our servers.
  • No photographic biometric data or facial geometry is captured or processed by any remote API.
  • Once you close your browser tab, all processed images in local RAM are instantly purged.

1. Information We Collect

When you browse Examer (examer.online), we collect standard, non-personally identifiable analytical information:

  • Log Files & Device Information: Browser type, operating system version, referring URLs, pages visited, and timestamps.
  • Voluntary Communications: When you send us an email at support@examer.online, we retain your email address and message contents solely to respond to your inquiry.
  • Search Queries: Search terms entered into our on-site search bar to improve notification categorization.

2. Cookies and Local Storage

We use minimal cookies and browser local storage strictly for functional purposes:

  • Candidate Preferences: Saving your selected qualification, state filter, or dark/light theme choice across visits.
  • Analytics: Aggregated visitor metrics to optimize server performance and identify popular exam categories.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time without losing access to any notification dossiers or candidate tools.

3. Third-Party Links & Government Portals

Examer dossiers contain outbound links to official recruiting authority websites (e.g. upsc.gov.in, ssc.gov.in, ibps.in) and official notification PDFs. Once you leave Examer, the privacy policies of those external websites govern your session. We encourage candidates to review external privacy notices.

4. Compliance with Indian IT Laws

Examer adheres to the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011. We never sell, rent, or trade candidate data to commercial telemarketers or coaching institutes.
