Integrity & Verification Standards

Editorial & Fact-Checking Policy

Examer is committed to publishing accurate, verified, and clutter-free public examination dossiers. This document outlines our sourcing protocols, editorial workflow, and correction procedures.

1. Primary Source Verification (Govt Gazettes Only)

We operate on a strict Primary-Source Only rule. Our editorial desk never publishes recruitment notices based on unverified social media leaks, unofficial forum discussions, or secondary news aggregators.

  • All notifications must trace directly to official central or state government portals (primarily ending in .gov.in or .nic.in).
  • Every dossier must provide a verified, clickable link to the official gazette advertisement PDF and the authorized application portal.
  • Press releases, short notices, and indicative advertisements are explicitly marked as Short Notice until the complete detailed notification is released.

2. Five-Point Editorial Scrutiny

Before an examination notice is published to the live portal, it must pass mandatory verification across five key dimensions:

1. Vacancy Breakup & Reservation

Verification of total posts, category allocations (UR, EWS, OBC, SC, ST, PwD), and gender-specific quotas.

2. Timeline & Critical Cutoff Dates

Cross-checking application start, last date, fee payment deadline, correction window, and tentative exam date.

3. Minimum Qualifications

Extracting mandatory degree, diploma, ITI trade, or 10th/12th certificate requirements plus experience criteria.

4. Age Limit & Cutoff Reference

Identifying the exact reference date for age calculation (e.g. 01-08-2026) and statutory upper age relaxations.

3. Corrigendum, Cancellation & Extension Protocols

Recruitment commissions frequently publish addendums (corrigendums) extending deadlines, adjusting post distributions, or revising exam dates.

  • When an extension notice is verified, the post timeline is immediately updated with a Freshness Stamp showing the revision date.
  • Expired posts remain accessible to preserve historical traffic, cutoffs, and question paper links, with prominent status badges indicating application closure.
  • If an exam is cancelled or deferred by the commission, a prominent warning alert is anchored to the top of the dossier.

4. Reader Corrections & Turnaround Guarantee

We maintain an open-door policy for corrections. If any applicant, educator, or commission official notices an error in vacancy numbers, qualifying criteria, or link redirects, they can email support@examer.online.

Reported discrepancies are reviewed against the official gazette PDF within 24 to 48 business hours. If validated, the corrections are applied immediately with an updated timestamp.
